Fifteen Times the Moon is a collection of original songs that explore the weather patterns of life, our fears, hopes and relationships with both ourselves and each other. The album title was inspired by the incredible true story of a Mexican fisherman, who one quiet afternoon set out on a fishing trip but was then caught up in a huge storm. He was not heard of again for fifteen months, at which point, after all hope was lost, he was discovered on a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean.

A number of Julia’s well-played songs such as Stormy Skies and Fear of Music feature on the album as well as lots of new material including two tracks co-written with Swedish songwriter Sunniva Brynnel. Julia’s passionate and fluent vocals paint her lyrics with intricate and engaging melodies supported deftly by finger picking guitar. With accomplished double bass player Pasquale Votino, violinist Annalise Lam playing both virtuosic solos and sympathetic backing lines and Roberto Nappi holding it down with drums that can both sing and groove Julia’s quartet is simultaneously tight and engaging.

Track Name: Stormy Skies
Stormy skies, everything is stormy
Stormy skies, everything is stormy
Clinging on, clinging on
Hoping for some calm

Skies do clear and my life is golden
Skies do clear and my life is golden
Love come near, love come near
Let's enjoy the sun
